✅ Project Overview
The client contacted HMC Works after their office, workshop and factory roof began leaking in several areas, disrupting operations and raising concerns about long-term structural damage. Our team was brought in to assess and restore the roof. We conducted thorough roof repairs, sealed all vulnerable areas using our trusted waterproofing systems, and completed the job with a full protective roof coating. The result was a durable, watertight, and visually renewed roof—restoring both function and appearance to the building.
🧼 Surface Preparation
Before any painting could begin, our team carried out a detailed inspection and preparation of the entire roof surface. This included:
Checking and securing all roof screws, washers, and bolts, replacing damaged components where necessary
Waterproofing all fasteners to prevent future leaks
Sealing all joints, laps, and overlaps using our high-performance waterproofing system to ensure complete moisture protection
Thorough hand-cleaning of the roof surface with galv wash to remove dirt, grease, and contaminants
Application of a rust converter to all corroded areas, preventing further deterioration and extending the lifespan of the sheeting
This meticulous process ensured the roof was fully prepared for long-lasting paint adhesion and weather resistance.
🎨 Priming & Painting
Next, we applied a chromadek-compatible primer, known for its superior bonding capabilities. This provided the perfect foundation for the topcoat. The final touch? Two coats of premium industrial roof paint, enhancing both durability and the visual impact of the building.
