At HMC Works, we’ve built our reputation on reliable service, honest advice, and professional workmanship. To maintain this standard while being fair to our team and resources, we now charge a R650.00 call-out fee for all on-site consultations and quotations.

In recent years, we’ve faced a growing number of situations where:

  • We drive across Gauteng at our own cost — and never hear back from the client

  • Clients schedule a visit but are not present when we arrive

  • We’re asked to quote alongside 3 or 4 other contractors, with no opportunity for proper engagement

  • Our time and expertise are used without commitment, impacting our ability to serve serious clients properly

Offering free, in-person quotations under these circumstances has become unsustainable.

Our quotation call-out fee helps us protect the time and energy we invest in each site visit, including:
